I don't think it is fair at all.

Barry Hall is already going to be sidelined for 5-6 weeks anyway, I think the suspension should be longer.

Only because once his wrist has healed he will be able to play again which I don't think is fair.

I may be from W.A but im sure many other people agree with my argument.

He got 987.5 point which is 9 weeks.

The rule is you don't get a 25% if you are referred directly to the tribunal.

I am at a lost as to why Hassett recommended the discount! His reasoning is that Barry entered an early plead.

Not good enough because the rule is you don't get the discount.

Probably not.   How long is it going to take for his wrist to heal?  5 maybe 6 weeks?  He was taking time off anyway.

More than fair. The AFL would have also reviewed what led up to the incident and would have seen what an idiot Staker was and saw he was lucky it was only one punch.

If we are going on more time for Barry what about the other WCE guy Barry pushed over and landed on his backside isn't that a reportable incident as well?

I say well done Barry he will do his time, six weeks recovery for his wrist, one week for physio and then back into the game.

Ic: obviously a WCE supporter or someone from WA. It has been stated through many media outlets that it was a reaction to what Staker did to Hall. Remember Barry started playing when the game still had the real men playing not these premadonna athletes. If he is going to hit someone he is going to do it with just cause. Do not jump on the Staker band wagon because his mummy and daddy are spouting off and yes I know Barrys dad has spoken out but only after the absolute defimation of character that was put out by Stakers parents.. As stated below he didn't shot the guy. Lets all get off this issue now and focus on the game, Barry has his time given to him and the players are moving on so why don't the supporters follow suit.
