To follow up musicmanniac's question about Yzerman eligible for the HHOF next year: did anyone else retire in '06 that would be first-year eligible for the hall next year?

I think Luc Robitaille retired in 06.

Brett Hull for sure, Luc Robitaille for sure, and Brian Leetch is also eligible... I personally think he was very underrated... and Stevie Y... if he doesn't make it... i'm going to have a very stern conversation with someone.

Only first ballots would be Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille..Mario Lemieux retired then too, but hes already in the hall. The next best guy besides those three is Eric Desjardins, dont think hes a first ballot guy.

Just Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille. There aren't many other players who deserve to be in the HHOF right now.
