Hallmark Star likely to win Pontefract´s Got Talent Night On 1st June Handicap
Hallmark Star is tipped to win the Pontefract´s Got Talent Night On 1st June Handicap at Pontefract in England on Monday, April 23, 2012. The triumphant horse will be awarded a cash prize of £4,840.
The going will be good to soft in the 1 mile, 4 furlong and 8 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 14:45 GMT. A total of seven runners have been attracted towards the event and their names are as follows: Hallmark Star, Amoralist, Gabrial´s King, Ruacana,
Winner´s Wish, Moon Trip and Singalat.
The bookies expect Hallmark Star to bring up his maiden victory today, as he is in good rhythm right now. He is a fierce competitor and the bettors will definitely risk some money in his favour.
The three-year-old gelding has got a decent record at this level, but does not have any victory to his name until now. He has entered four races and the best he could manage was a runner up finish once. Other than that, he also secured a couple of third
place finishes.
Importantly, the Gerard Butler’s trainee has performed well in his recent races, which indicates that he is carrying good momentum. He ended up third in his previous race, which was a very good result, considering the fact that he was up against some quality
runners.
Hallmark Star will be partnered by Dane O'Neill, who has earned quite a few victories in his career, but has been unable to maintain a decent strike rate. He will need to bring a lot more consistency in his performances in order to attract more bets from
the punters.
On the other hand, Ruacana seems to be in decent flow at the moment and he will definitely challenge the race favourite at Pontefract today. He made his debut in February, this year, and was impressive right from the start of his career.
The three-year-old gelding has participated in races until now, finishing runner up in a couple of them. In addition to that, he has also finished third once, which means that he has never dropped out of the top three.
Amoralist and Gabrial´s King will be the other two runners to watch out for in the race at Pontefract.
