Halloween Costume for a 12 year old girl?

Question

I was Hannah Montana last year, and I don't want to be a witch or a pirate. I don't want big long dresses, Disney Princesses, or something with really big wings. I want something cute, to or above my knee. Thanks!

I'm going as Miss Texas.

Get a cute dress that is a little above the knees (But not too high above the knees!) And a sash with the words Miss Texas on it, and a crown. Have someone help you with a little makeup and don't forget to add jewelry! And a cute but not too prom-like hairstyle.
