Halloween Party Suggestions?

I know...Halloween is far away but my friend is having a Halloween party & she already told me about it. It's a costume party & she wants some help with some ideas for food, games, drinks, decorations & stuff. & what are some costume ideas? Maybe she could have a best costume prize or something...is that a good idea? So anyways, help would nice. Thank you! :]

games:

bobbing for apples

costume contest : best costume, cutest costume, most scary, most unique

drinks: mix together different types of soda together in a big bowl, (ie. grape/ strawberry fanta, dr. pepper/ sprite) then buy fake bugs to put into the bowl. when drinking, the guest might get a creepy crawler in their drink

decor: fake blood, fake spiderwebs ( glow in dark or regular), make the entranceway/ dorrway ( wherever the guests enter) into a coffin.get a HUGE piece of cardboard and make the shape the tape it to the door frame. make headstones and put the guests names on them. maybe get a strobe light.

You could bake pumpkin cakes or something like that for some of the food. You could have pumpkin juice as well seeing as the theme is halloween. You could carve some pumpkins to decorate.

You could also use fake cobwebs, fake blood, fake dismembered fingers, hanging skeletons, that sort of thing for decorations.
