Halloween Party.... please help?

Question

i know Halloween is 2 months away. But I need to start planning.

I need ideas... I am having a haunted house, also.. the party is for people 15+, they are really hard to scare...

i want new ideas please.

i already now about the lights ( its going to be flashing lights), food ( hot dogs, red punch.), and sounds.

i mostly need decorations. my budget is no more that 1,000.

please..

these are really inexpensive:

- torn black material hanging from everywhere

- those little blair witch stick men bundles hanging from trees

- lots of candles in jars (safer than exposed flames)

jeeze $1,000!!!

i had a party with 10 or so people and kept it under like 50 bucks

and they were 13 and 14 yr old girls who we scared the c**p out of them! it was hilarious and for 3 and a half hours were non stop activities and they were talking about it for weeks...

baby food tasting, ice cream making (you know in a bag thing) balance the balloon on a spoon, wrap the person and make a mummy game, uummm scavenger hunt, prizes fo reveryhting...then the funny part....

we were all sitting in my living room telling a stupid funny story and the lights were out except with some black lights and scar music,then we had my dad with a white mask thing on run down teh hallway going AHHHHH!!!! really low voice and banging on the wall and EVERYONE SCREEMED AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!! but it freaked everyone out!! haha classic...i even knew it was comming but i still got scrared for a second there lol

Decorations/food:

Put white sheets over furniture

Buy dead flowers

But cob webs

At the Halloween Outlet, you can but moving dead people

Buy a lot of pumpkins

Maybe buy black and white socks and have them sticking out from underneath the coach so that it's like the wicked witch of the west

Play scary music

Candles

Activities:

Light as a feather stiff as a board ( someone lies down, and a bunch of people sit around reciting the words with two fingers underneath the person. Everyone lifts and are magically able to hold the person up (kind of lame, but a lot of laughs))

Ouijia board (board that "communicates with the dead")

If you're willing to pay 1,000$, maybe hire a psychic or hypnotist (you can look in the phone book for one)

Maybe use tarot cards

truth or dare??

Watch a scary movie

Make those popcorn and candy corn hands

I don't know what else, but maybe you could google "scary halloween ideas" or something else

What are the ages of your guests?

Make it a theme party and insist they dress the parts.  Zombies, vampires, witches, Harry Potter, whatever.

Can some of your guests play ghosts, demons, monsters and pop out at people?
