Not too S****y but obviously suggestive. They have other cool girl costumes but they are not in bad taste I don't think.

someone go as dorthy, the lion(yellowish browning dress w/ idk that ones hard lol), the tin man( for that you can wear a metalic dress with silver leggings), scarecrow(flannel shirt jean shorts and idk), and i dont think theres anymore

You can punk them out (like the 80's) with big hair, maybe some colored streaks, mini skirts, high heels, maybe some kind of leggins.  You can get cheap clothing at your local goodwill or thrift shop and not have to pay what they want for costumes.  You can also watch on you tube a couple called threadbangers, and they can show you all kinds of ways to make costumes using old clothes and a little imagination.  Hope this helps.

NFL - there are a few options here, you can do the football players and their cheerleaders, each guy do different team and a girl be a cheerleader to match the team.

OR

You can do mascots!  You can have the guy dress as the football player and the girl dress as the Mascot OR have the Girl dress as the Cheerleader from that team and the guy dress as the Mascot from the team.  The Cowboys have a cowboy, the Patriots have a Patriot, and so on, pick the teams you like and find out their mascot and go from there!
