Halloween crafts i can make?

Question

I know halloween isnt for another 2 months, but I want my house to be all halloween and stuff. I want to do the decorating myself. What are some crafts i can make? thanks

This is one of my favorite crafts and it does take a couple months to complete :-)

Shrunken Heads!

Peel some red apples that still have the stem on them and tie a long string from the stem. Carve as detailed of a face as possible, give it wrinkles in the creases of the eyes and big puckered lips. Give each one different facial expressions, some with a big open mouth or some with a wide smile for example.

Soak these 'heads' in really salty water for 24 hours. Next, hang the string from a place where the 'heads' can get sunlight all day long like the corner of a rafter of the roof outside or from the porch. Let these guy dry in the sun for several weeks.

When they're good and dry and nicely wrinkled, glue beads into the eye sockets and fake hair. Use black thread to sew the 'lips' shut. Use a fine tipped marker to make tattoos on some.

You might be able to try this in a food dehydrator/dryer but I've never done it that way. The method above is not unlike the real method of making genuine shrunken heads.

Ghosts are the easiest , you can make them from white plastic bags  , sheets , pellon ;)))

There are a LOAD of things you can make with polymer clay (or at least partly with it, or perhaps other clays).
