Halloween first birthday party...

Question

I am having my babies first birthday party Halloween style. There will be kids there of all ages ranging from 1-12. I thought we could do a craft decorating a pumpkin. I the kids are too young for permanet marker and regular marker smears, so I was thinking of maybe doing paint and glitter and maybe stickers. Do you have any other craft idea's or pumpkin decorating idea's??? How much does little pumpkins or big pumpkins usually cost??? Any other halloween/birthday games or activities can you think of??? We are having a FREE bounce house curtosey of my sister. I am going to make a small ball pit with a plastic swimming pool and balls.

I had a Halloween party for my 1 & 2 year old last year with the same age range.  I set up two stations. One for the younger and one for the older kids.  The younger kids I made a bat cave tunnel out of cardboard boxes for them to crawl through, a fun mirror, and a pumpkin making table.  I had everything you mentioned plus feathers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, and some fake jewls.  The older kids did this as well.  I made a small Haunted House for the older kids.  I used boxes for the walls and drapped them with black sheets.  I also had spiders, rats, etc throughout the house and adults jumping out from behind the boxes.    For the games we played Spider Toss-Black bean bags with eys and legs attached to look like spiders.   The kids tossed them through a cardboard box that I painted to look like a spider web.  I let my son walk up to it and just place them through sence he was only 1.  Trick or Treat-Each kid takes a turn putting their hand into a bag that had a Trick(pelled grapes, etc) or Treat(small prize)  Pin the nose on the Pumpkin-Same as Pin the tail on the Donkey.
