Halloween party ideas?

Well im going into 8th grade so ill be 14 in november but can you guys help me with some halloween party ideas?? Im probably gonna have it in my basement. But please help me with some ideas because i dont want people ot come and be bored and then id be embarresed so please help.

my boyfriend and i had a halloween party last year and i went and bought white tissue paper and white string and made little ghosts you just stuff the middle of the tissue paper with a napkin and tie it underneath the napkin with string and it is a ghost :) also buy some black light bulbs those are neat and we bought bags and bags of candy and put them in witches caldrons and also maybe a good scary movie to play while the party is going on we played halloween :) haha hope thats helpful

Alright....

Some ideas form a previous party..

-Keeps lights off. Use lots of candles to create a dim, creepy affect.

-Buy dry ice, to make the room smokey/.

-Print of black/white pictures from the printer of "old portraits". Pictures of old creepy people/faces. Frame them on the wall (you make poster/paper frames, to make it cheap)

-Fake-webs -all over the lights/frames/ everything

-& someone once used yards of cheap dark fabric...They ripped/tattered it...& pinned it up for curtains. It was creative.

You can make the place look dark, old, renivated...

Sketch a random body print on the floor, (with tape, not chalk) like they do in crime scenes

Play some music that sounds creepy when they come in, like:

-Or the sound of floors/stairs creeking.

-Or the song from the Halloween movie.

Since you all are older, Have some music to dance to. Also, check out Spencers at a mall, for black lights, or other lighting affects.

Avoid games like bobbing for apples. Instead, rent some old scarey movies. Or recent scarey movies-if you like.

But if you can really scare them.. Even Over and over, random moments- they're definately remember.

Have your close friend help...

Look online/youtube some halloween pranks/scaring tricks.
