Halloween weekend sees thrilling swims in Colorado – Swimming news
On the arrival of Halloween this weekend, several swimming events were conducted in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday, October 30. The session conducted several thrilling events of competitive swimming, where Texas dominated the majority of events.
Neil Caskey claimed Men’s 200m Individual Medley title after touching the finishing wall in a time of 1 minute and 49.71 seconds, while Caskey picked second medal in 200m butterfly in a winning mark of 1 minute and 48.49 seconds. In addition, partner Patrick
Murphy won Men’s 200 back-stroke event in a victorious mark of 1 minute and 47.94 seconds and also grabbed 100m back-stroke title in a time of 49.30 seconds.
Breeja Larson earned a stunning victory in Women’s 100m breast-stroke in a time of 1 minute and 00.89 seconds, while Larson claimed her second win in 200m breast-stroke swim after she touched the finishing wall in a triumphant mark of 2 minutes and 10.37 seconds.
Additionally, Cammille Adams won 200m butterfly race in a time of 1 minute and 58.52 seconds, along with a victory in 500m freestyle in 4 minutes and 49.99 seconds. On the other hand, Gator Teresa Crippen won 200m butterfly meet in a time of 2 minutes and
14.79 seconds along with a victory in 200m back-stroke in a mark of 2 minutes and 16.85 seconds. Moreover, Crippen clinched 400m IM race after she touched finishing wall and ended her swim with a winning mark of 4 minutes and 50.28 seconds.
Team-mate Elizabeth Beisel took home the 100m back-stroke event in a triumphant time of 1 minute and 03.96 seconds, whereas, Beisel won second race in 400m freestyle in a time of 4 minutes and 14.47 seconds. Furthermore, Matt Elliott won 100m breast-stroke
race in a time of 1 minute and 04.59 seconds and Elliot clinched 200m breast-stroke event in a mark of 2 minutes and 18.01 seconds.
Last, but not the least, Sarah Batemen won 50m freestyle meet in a time of 25.93 seconds along with a victory in 100m butterfly with a spot of 1 minute and 01.06 seconds.
