Halo 3 Disc/Memory Help?

I recently scratched my halo 3 disc pretty badly, and now the game won't read properly. If I buy a brand new Halo 3 disc, would my achievements and memory for the game still be there?

If not, is there a way to get it back or will I have to do everything all over again.

Actually, you dont need to buy a new disc. Microsoft wil send you one for free. Go on xbox.com and they have some more info, about sending it in and you get a brand new disc.

all your info is saved to your 360s hard drive not the disk so if you do buy a new game it wouldnt change any of your profile for it.also i heard that tooth paste is a good scratch remover.it just has to be the kind that is plain without beads or flakes in it.

hey chill dude, all your memory is on the hard drive. discs just contain the game, that's why if you buy a game, you have to have a hard drive or memory stick

all of your savings will still be thear. but u can try to fix it by rubing any kind of tooth paest on it. that might help☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺
