Halo 3 legendary badge ?

ive had the achievements for halo a while now and its making me sick! i have every single campaign achievement but on matchmaking it just shows a picture of the heroic badge. i tried to do the arrival thing but it still says finished the fight on heroic! how do i get it to finished the fight on legendary? im desperate

I believe it only shows up on what you beat solo mode.  If you did co-op its not going to show

Did you beat the game on Legendary while you were connected to XBL? If you weren't online, then the could be the reason. Try playing some online matches, I'm sure it'll update eventually.

You can also get the badge by doing co-op, thats what me and my friends did the night it was released. Three of us beat the game straight over night on Legendary.
