my friend was telling bout the end of halo 3 and wat happens when u beat legendary and the scenee that it shows and it lok s preety obvios there gnna make a nother one (havent played the game yet) also he showed me a site wea it said that the rumors are true, wats ur opinion on this?

There might be Halo 4 or a Halo related game by Bungie. There are rumours that Bungie are developing a new game, but have not said what they are working on. They have said that it is NOT HALO WARS. Not much is known about it. A source has told Gamespot:

* That it will be a spin-off that resembles Ghost Recon and Gears of War.

* Tactical Shooter

* Less cartoony

* More bloody, violent and grim

* 8 player co-op

* NO MASTER CHIEF!!! OMFG!!

But this is only rumours. We all just need to wait and see. Nothing was mentioned at E3 about a new Halo, which means it will probably be a while until we hear anything else about it. It might be released late next year or with the next generation of consoles. The ending to Halo 3 certainly seems like there will be a new Halo.

At the end of Halo 3, before the credits theres a message by Bungie:

"Thanks for giving Bungie a community that has kicked *** throughout the years, and will continue to kick *** for many, many moreÃ¢Â€Â¦"

I think thats a hint, saying that there will be a new Halo.

It's called halo wars and it's a pc and xbox 360 strategy game. It's coming out this fall.

It's c**p. There's no little video that gives you the impression that there's going to be a 4th one. Besides I don't think Bungie could make a game that sucks more than Halo 3 did.

This unfortunately is not true, HOWEVER, Bungie (The makers of Halo) had an important announcement that was canceled by microsoft last-minute.

So that important announcement could very well be the making of Halo 4, or maybe even the Halo movie.

Its rumored and more then likely yes there will be another one but not until the next xbox comes out, which wouldn't be until atleast 2012 its supposed to be a launch title. Its on IGN here the link
