Halp!!!!!!!?

Question

Ok, I have a problem with my Toshiba notebook (Equium A200-1V0). I can't just plug my earphones into the notebook and listen through them ... example: If I'm watching a YouTube video through my speakers, and I plug in my earphones; the sound still comes out the speakers .. I have to close the browser, plug them in, and then re-open the video ... Vice versa for listening through headphones first.

Also, if I plug-in my headphones, then take them out (without closing the browser or media player), the sound doesn't come out of the headphones or speakers until whatever I was listening through is re-opened.

Please help if you can :) Will

i would reinstall your sound card drivers. sounds like it's a software issue and not a mechanical issue of when you plug in the earphones.
