Hamburg SV full-back Dennis Aogo admits beating Freiburg will not be easy- Bundesliga news
Hamburg SV full-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462 this weekend will not be an easy one. He admitted that his side cannot afford to drop any more points as they are bottom of the table after a drastic
start to the current campaign.
Rothosen are bottom of the German league table with only four points from the eight games played in this season. Their first win in the league came against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 last month when they succeeded with a 2-1 score line.
Aogo claimed that the club’s next three matches in the Bundesliga will be vital in where they will end their campaign. They will play SC Freiburg, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 and FC Kaiserslautern all of which are struggling currently. He stated
that the results of these three games will surely determine the club’s season as they have a great chance of coming back on track with decent performances against the relatively less competitive teams.
“The next three matches are hugely important for us, because they're all against sides at the lower end of the standings. We want to win them; it goes without saying, and battle clear of the bottom. This is a six-pointer - Freiburg
can pull clear of us with a win and that's something we'll be looking to prevent at all costs,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German international added that Freiburg are a very good team when they play at home and that it will not be an easy task to bring them down. However, he insisted that his side will fear nobody and will definitely play for
a win in the upcoming match.
“And it won't be easy, because Freiburg are always better at home than away. We've no reason to fear Freiburg and our aim is to return to Hamburg with three points in the bag,” he concluded.
Rothosen have finally appointed Thorsten Fink as their new manager who has joined the club from Swiss side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 and signed a contract until 2014.
