Hamburg SV show interest in signing Nicklas Bendtner- Bundesliga news
German giants Hamburg SV have shown interest in signing Arsenal striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884
international would be a very difficult task.
The striker’s future has been subject to widespread speculation in the past few months. He has openly expressed his desire to leave the London giants in this summer’s transfer window and has been left out of the club’s pre-season
tour of Asia also.
German duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be after the attacker to strengthen their respective attacking line-ups. Munich have already signed Nils Petersen from Energie Cottbus so it is unlikely that they
will go for the Danish but Dortmund are the most likely destination as the club look to defend the Bundesliga title next season.
Arnesen insisted that Hamburg are keen on strengthening their attack force for the next campaign and they need a quality attacking midfielder.
“We need more creativity in our offensive. A midfielder with quality would be good for us,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sporting-89-c40576 Director stated that Bendtner would be a great option and rated him as a brilliant talent. He claimed that the striker can also play in wide positions and can be versatile in his playing positions.
“Bendtner would be a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 dream; he is a very interesting player. He can also play as an attacking midfielder behind the attacker,” he continued.
However, Arnesen believes that the deal would be very difficult as there are a host of other clubs in pursuit to sign the forward from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. He admitted that the club is not prepared financially to engage in bidding wars to
sign the player.
“But it would almost amount to a small miracle for us to get him. There are two other clubs who have made an offer Nicklas and we are unfortunately not in that position,” he concluded.
Hamburg SV will kick start their campaign against German champions Borussia Dortmund.
