Hamburg SV striker Mladen Petric has insisted that he is in no hurry to sign a new contract with the club. The player claimed that he wants to think over the decision and needs time to decide on his future.

the side could be in trouble upfront.
Petric claimed that the talks over a possible new deal have been in a good atmosphere and both sides have been keen to discuss the terms. But the striker stated that he is no hurry to sign and wants to take his time. He admitted
that he is under no pressure whatsoever and will reveal his decision soon.
“We have talked in a very relaxed atmosphere and shared our ideas. But I want to take this very important decision about the further course of my career, in peace and without any pressure,” the striker was quoted as saying in an
interview.
The club’s Sporting Director Frank Arnesen is hopeful that the forward will commit his future for the club and insisted that the player is in the club’s plans for the future.
“We plan with him for the new season. We would like to extend, but accept his decision,” the Director said.
