“After seven games we have now won our first game. The team was really pleased. And then we have put in a huge effort. It worked,” he was quoted as saying.
The South Korean international admitted that there are still a lot of games to be played and insisted that a respectable position can be reached before the season ends.
“We must now continue to work during the week to win the next game. We now have won one game but if we continue to give everything then everything will be all good,” he continued.
The striker hailed the fans for supporting the team throughout the bad phase and wants to repay them now.
“Yes, I have the hope and the fans do too. I think we have to give in every game for the fans in order to win the game,” he concluded.
