Hamburg SV Sporting Director Frank Arnesen has hit out at VfL Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath following a failed transfer for South Korean midfielder Koo Ja-Cheol. He claimed that Magath was unprofessional when he stalled the transfer
in the dying moments of the summer transfer window.
Hamburg had reportedly agreed a transfer for the South Korean in this transfer window with Wolfsburg but Felix Magath pulled the plug at the very last moment to deny Rothosen an acquisition. The transfer deadline ended and Frank
Arnesen failed to sign an attacking midfielder as a result.

The Sporting Director slammed the former Schalke manager and insisted that it was thoroughly unprofessional from an experienced manager to make a decision like that.
“This is not the way you treat colleagues. Everything was sorted out before. These are manners I am absolutely not used to. Maybe I am not perfect in the German language, but my ears are very good and I simply know what we agreed
to do,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
