Hamburg coach Armin Veh unwilling for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ruud-van-Nistelrooy-c31966’s transfer to Real Madrid
Hamburg coach, Armin Veh has nullified any chances of the great Dutch legend Ruud van Nistelrooy making a heroic return back to Real Madrid.
In a recent press release, the coach stated he understood why Nistelrooy would consider the move, but there was very little chance of him making it, as the German outfit needed him. In fact, the Bundesliga club’s offence revolves
around him.
The manager claimed that Ruud van Nistelrooy was in contract with the club and everyone expects him to honour it.
Spanish footballing giants, Real Madrid want to sign in ‘Van the Man’ on loan for the next 6 months. Their current main striker Gonzalo Higuain is out injured after he hurt his back. Medical examination has revealed the player
would be benched for another two months at least. Hence, manager Jose Mourinho is desperately looking for a replacement.
Mourinho is after the former legend of Manchester United and Real itself. The prolific goal- scoring machine is ready to rumble if the opportunity demands of him and this is why the Portuguese ‘Chosen One’ rates him highly.
Nistelrooy also desires a return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, but realizes all the decision making power is not in his hands. Although Los Blancos will be happy to have the player among their ranks, Veh insisted on him staying at Hamburg.
On the issue Veh stated, “A clear decision has been made by our club, and we will not let go of Ruud. I have respect for him, and of his point of view, and I am also aware that he is keen to return to Madrid and finish his career
there.”
He added, “I respect his intentions, but he has a contract with the club, he is in great form, and his departure is not an option.”
Nistelrooy inked the deal with Hamburg in January 2010. The deal signed was for a year and a half. As the player has spent a year with the club, the remaining 6 months are what is left of the contract. A response from the Rothosen
player is expected any time soon, which will further clarify the whole saga.
