Hamburg manager Armin Veh close to being fired: Reports
Bundesliga side Hamburg manager Armin Veh is reportedly very close to being shown the door at the club.
Recently, Hamburg lost to high flying Mainz and that defeat could may well be the final nail in the coffin for Armin Veh as manager of the side. The German was already under a lot of pressure and many suggested that the former Schalke 04 coach was under
borrowed time and any poor result may force the Hamburg board to sack him.
It has been rumoured that Veh has already lost his players’ trust and the recent run of poor results has left the Hamburg authorities with no other option but to sack the 50-year-old.
Moreover, it is understood that the directors at Hamburg have already started scouting for potential replacements for the manager and are also looking to terminate Veh’s contract that will expire in the summer of 2012.

Hamburg are currently in 7th place in the Bundesliga with 37 points from 25 games and 2 points behind Nuremberg who are currently occupying the final berth for next season’s edition of the UEFA Europa League.
