The tactician claimed that it was shocking to watch Bayern scoring some very easy goals and admitted that the defenders were humiliated throughout the course of the match.

Michael Oenning expressed his disappointment on the display of his team and admitted that it was embarrassing to see his players be deceived so easily. He stated that the defenders made some very silly mistakes and were unable
to stop the deadly duo of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery who were both involved in all of the goals.
“This defeat really hurts. As the game went on, we couldn’t even do the simplest things properly, it was shocking,” the manager was quoted as saying in an interview.

However, he remained confident that the players will learn something from the match and show determination in the future fixtures. He said that the club is in a critical situation in 17th place and hopes to pick up on
the displays and secure the first win of the season next week.
“Stopping [Franck] Ribery and [Arjen] Robben was incredibly difficult today, and at some point, our confidence was shot. The only positive aspect about this match is that we know we’re in a critical situation now,” he concluded.
Hamburg will meet fellow strugglers FC Koln at home this weekend in a bid to win for the first time in the Bundesliga this season.
