Hamburg SV manager Thorsten Fink has stated that he is confident of a successful future with the club. He admitted that the team surely deserves to be in a better place than it is currently and that the players just need the little

Rothosen have struggled from the start of the campaign and are currently sitting at the bottom of the Bundesliga standings table with only seven points from the nine games played. However, there has been improvement recently as
they have won two of the last three games in the league and are finally getting the results.
Fink claimed that he has full faith in his team and is confident that the players will shine and that there will surely be an improvement in the performances with the passage of time. He insisted that Hamburg has the quality in
the squad and could have challenged for the top-four spot given they had the good start.
“I have a great deal of faith in my team and I believe they can do a lot better than they are currently doing. If I was not so convinced, then I would not have left a Champions League participant to come here,” he was quoted as
saying in an interview.
The manager also had words of praise for his former club FC Basel and defended his move to Hamburg, stating that it is a bigger club and in a very competitive league. He admitted that the next task would be to win the next game
in the league and move out of the drop zone.
“Basel are a great club, but I want to be successful and I know what the best thing is for me and Hamburg are a big club. We need to think on a game-by-game basis. We want to win the next game and that is the current task,” he
concluded.
