Hamburg midfielder Zhi Gin Lam delighted after signing new deal- Bundesliga news
Hamburg SV midfielder Zhi Gin Lam has expressed his delight on signing a new deal to stay with the club until 2015. The player stated that he wants to keep playing for a club like Hamburg and wants to prove himself in the Bundesliga
in the years to come.
Club Sporting Director Frank Arnesen also praised the midfielder’s ability and predicted that the player would be a huge star in the future.
Zhi Gin Lam is another player from Hamburg’s youth ranks and the club has tied down another exciting young talent for the future. Rothosen has shown interest in signing young players in the past few months and want to build a team
for the future.
Lam was overjoyed on signing a new contract and believes that Hamburg is the right club for him. The attacking midfielder admitted that his debut against Stuttgart in September has given him a lot of confidence and he is hopeful
of breaking in to the first team when the season progresses.
“I am very happy to carry on playing for HSV. I made my Bundesliga debut here and am delighted at the trust still being bestowed in me,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Arnesen added that the youngster has grown as a player in the last few months and has immense potential. He praised the player’s natural ability and stated that he is a star for the future.

Hamburg SV are currently 14th on the Bundesliga standings table with 13 points from 13 games. The side recently got its first win under Thorsten Fink when they downed Hoffenheim 2-0 at the Imtech Arena on Sunday.
