Hamburg want Rodolfo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cardoso-c8316’s stay to be extended until the arrival of new manager: Bundesliga news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodolfo-c31415 Cardoso’s stay as an interim manager until the appointment of a new tactician. Cardoso took over after the departure of Michael Oenning and according to the rules, an interim manager can’t exceed his stay beyond
15 days.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Oenning was earlier given the marching orders following a poor start to the season. Cardoso was appointed on a temporary basis but the Red Shorts have failed to appoint a new manager since then, meaning the 42-year-old could get an extension to his
role.
The caretaker manager, on the other hand, can’t extend his stay at the club according to the DFB rules. Cardoso doesn’t possess that required license which means that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 player will have to be relieved of his duties.
If Hamburg still do not find a manager before October 16, Sporting director Frank Arnesen or goalkeeping coach Ronny Teuber could be entrusted with the duties.
It has recently been reported that Hamburg officials are going to launch an appeal for Cardoso’s extension, who inspired the Red Shorts to their first win of the new season. The appeal, though, is very much likely to be turned down by the German Football
Federation.
The former midfielder stated that it has taken him no time to gel with the players and he would love to lead the club out of the bottom three.
While talking to local press regarding his future, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Boca-Juniors-c38658 player enthused, "It is all out of my hands. I am enjoying working with the team and we have taken a step forwards in these two games, so that is good.”
He concluded by saying, "Other people will now decide how things proceed. I just carry on working whether it is with the first or the second team. As long as the club need me, I will be there."
Hamburg are currently 18th on the league table with four points from eight games and will next be in action against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462 on Sunday, October 16.
