Hamburger SV’s Ruud van Nistelrooy wants a Spain or England move – Bundesliga news

He confirmed that there are many clubs, especially in English Premier League, who want to recruit him. He also mentioned that he is well connected in England and he would surely utilize his contacts to continue his playing career.
The 34-year-old has had an injury prone season which has deprived him of appearing in 33 games. He has only managed 19 starts this year from which he has bagged seven goals. This influential striker has attracted a lot of interest from several top European clubs but he cleared that his preference would be either Spain or England.
Van Nistelrooy has already played in England for five years where he had a glittering stint with Manchester United. While playing for the Red Devils, the Dutch International managed 150 League appearances from which he bagged no less than 95 goals. In 2006, the veteran striker moved to La Liga giants Real Madrid. In four seasons with Los Galacticos (2006-2010), he managed 68 La Liga appearances and netted an impressive 46 goals from those appearances.
The 34-year-old has also made 70 International appearances for the Dutch national side, scoring 35 times in the process.
The inspirational figure concluded by saying, "Spain would be great because I have played there before but in the Premier League I have many good contacts. There are concrete offers but for the first time in my career, I will be an agent in the summer. I will sit down with the proposals and make a decision with my wife."
Hamburger are currently seventh in the Bundesliga with 44 points and will next be in action against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, May 14.
