Hamburger SV striker, Son Heung-Min, has expressed delight at being part of the Bundesliga and vowed to do better and better with the passage of time. The player reckoned that the German League is gradually growing in stature and people have started following
it to some extent. He admitted that the English Premier League and La Liga are still more popular, but insisted that the day is not far when the Bundesliga will gain the same sort of viewership as the other leagues.
The South Korean international was also delighted at the fact that many players from the Asian origin are taking interest in the German League. He confirmed that many other players want to be a part of this League, which is quite encouraging to see it from
the country’s perspective. The teenager thought that players gain a lot of experience playing alongside big names, and get well equipped with the environment while playing in front of the vociferous crowd.
When quizzed about his experience at the club, Son added that it was a miserable start to his campaign as he got injured just when the season was about to get underway. He thanked the medical staff for working hard upon his fitness and enabling him to appear
for his club sooner than expected. The 18-year-old told that the Bundesliga is no less than a challenge and ensured that he would do his level best to stay up with its requirements.
The Korean was jubilant at being offered a chance of playing alongside the Dutch legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ruud-van-Nistelrooy-c31966. He said that the Dutchman has been quite helpful throughout and credited him with a lot of improvement that could be seen in his game play.
The striker joined the club last year in 2010 after spending a good couple of years in Hamburger’s youth ranks. Since landing at the Imtech Arena, Son has netted in three goals from just the seven league games he has played in. He also has five international
appearances under his belt for the Korean national, bagging a goal in progress.
The teenager desired to stay at the club for some time to come and continue to do well for the Red Shorts.
