Hamburg’s Frank Arnesen admits David Jarolim could leave in January- Bundesliga news
Hamburg SV Sporting Director Frank Arnesen has admitted that midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Jarolim could be on his way out in the coming January transfer window. He claimed that the player wants to play in the first-team which would be difficult
at his current club so he wants an exit. However, Arnesen added that Jarolim would be welcomed in a coaching role after he ends his playing career in two years time.
David Jarolim’s role has been restricted to the benches this season and has had very few playing opportunities. He started the season with injury and is finding it difficult to breakthrough in the starting line-up which is why
he has expressed his desire to leave the club in the winter transfer window.
Arnesen claimed that Jarolim has been a loyal servant for the club for many years and his contributions have been massive. He insisted that the player will be allowed to look for another club in January since he intends to play
regular football. He added that Jarolim has never complained of not getting much playing time and has always been a team player.
“David Jarolim is a player who has achieved so much for this club and he has told me that he would like to be a coach of a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 when he ends his career, but that he would like to play one or two years more first,” he was
quoted as saying in an interview.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 Director of Sport added that Jarolim will surely return in a coaching position for the youth team after he ends his playing time. He added that the player can still help the side by guiding the youth players
at the club.
“Therefore, I told him that, if he would like to move, then we would love to have him back after his playing career to coach one of our youth teams. He is a role model for young players because even when he has not played so much,
he has never complained,” he concluded.
Hamburg are currently in 16th place with 10 points after playing 12 games. They have won only two games all season and lost six times.
