Hamburg SV Sporting Director Frank Arnesen has stated that he is impressed with the club’s recent results in all competitions and is delighted with the performances of the team under new manager Thorsten Fink. He admitted that
Fink will need some time to settle in but he has been brilliant from the day he has arrived and the club will not pressurize him for results.

under him which is a very good sign.
“I think what matters is that Thorsten is allowed to work in peace and quiet. He is getting to know the players and the players are getting to know him and that is a process which takes three to five weeks. Of course we all want
to climb the table, but that will only be a result of this hard work,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“The results will arrive through hard work. I have already noticed an improvement compared to the first few months of the season. Looking at the last five games, we have only lost one and that is a good start,” he concluded.
Hamburg will next travel to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga clash to be played at the BayArena in search of their third win of the season. The club is on its way up and they could end in mid-table if they continue the current
form.
