Hamburg’s Rajkovic rejected Ajax switch

The Serbian central defender spurned the opportunity to move to the Dutch League side Ajax on  season-long loan deal, even though the Eredivisie club were following the out of favour player with keen interest.

Hamburg stopper Slobodan Rajkovic has been warned by his current team that he is no longer required at the club and is free to seek a move elsewhere. As a result of this, Ajax confirmed that they wanted to capture the signature
of the defender during the summer transfer market but nothing materialised of it.

of the fight and has since lost his place in the Bundesliga outfit.
