when he realised he could not stop at the end of the pit lane do you think he swerved to avoid kubica and went for kimi knowing if he hit kubica kimi may have taken 10 points off him

I thought the same thing, but having seen the replay, i don't think it was deliberate and was more of a reflex thing.  I think he tried to go around the cars and there was more room on the left where Kimi was.    However, if he'd had time to think about it, i'm sure he would have taken out Kimi instead of Kubica because Kimi is a bigger threat to the championship.

bang on the money my Friend as he knows that Kimi is overall in the better car and Ferrari have a history of good development during a season and plus the Kimster is the defending champion where as Kubs is currently the protege that can be beaten by Kimi

Or maybe he was directly behind kimi in the first place and there was a gap to the left of kimi so lewis aimed for the shortest exit which was to the left of kimi but run out of time ? He tried to swerve out of the way clearly.

You think in that split second when he realized the light was on too late he has enough time to think hmmm who shal i take out.....oh yeah ill swerve right across and retire kimi coz hes a bigger threat to me ????

You make it sound like he was behind Kubica and he swerved right across the pits to take Kimi out lmao any idea how ridiculous that sounds ?

It was just an unfortunate incident which Kimi deserved as he took out the force india car 2 weeks ago. What goes around comes around!

Absolutely not. Not even Kimi wouldn't have thought that. It just happened. I don't think he would have had time to think that, he just reacted. Had he hit Kubica then the pit lane would have been totally blocked. No, he's not malicious, he just made a mistake.

I think so. Rob and Lewis are reported to be good friends since childhood, back in their Italian carting days. Kimi, on the other hand, got Hamilton's season win last year, so I guess it's payback time. No use ruining a good friend'ship when you can ruin your most bitter rival's car! Hehehe.

Then again...he could have just been avoiding the wall. Glad he wrecked Kimi. Hehehe.

it would lead to many a argument but it most likely was just a reaction on Hamilton's part to avoid both cars when he woke up and saw two stationary cars in front of him,or was it? hahaa just kidding.

It was not intentional for him to hit Kimi, just an accident due to his carelessness and lack of experience.

No not at all, he was trying to avoid the accident, the only clear space for him to go was to the left of kimi as Kubica was against a wall.

I doubt he would have had time to think, lets take Kimi out

i think he tried to swerve and miss kimi and kubica and aim for the space next to kimi but i think he went too late in and hit kimi.

Hamilton was frustrated coz he was beaten out of the pits by kimi and wasn't payin attention. Don't think it was deliberate, he swerved to try to avoid both cars, but he was still in the wrong.

In answer 2 the guy above, it was NOTHING like kimi and sutil, kimi lost the back and powered out of the slide as ur supposed 2 to get the back end in line, and just hit sutil. This one was just hamilton bein the impatient sod that he is.

No way, and anyone who thinks so knows nothing about F1. A good driver would NEVER be so stupid and un-sportsman's like to drive into someone intentionally. I am not saying that it has never happened, but Hamilton definitely wouldn't do that, not at his level and point in his career. He is a good person and will no doubt bounce back from his stupid mistake, and that's all it was a stupid mistake. Kimi did the same thing in Monaco driving into Sutil

Well there shoudln't be any accidents in a race! but of course it happens, and wether it is the same or not it is still a mistake,  so if you read my answer properly you would see that I didn't say what kimi did was anything like what lewis did today, but that it was a mistake too, i am 100% sure he didn't want to drive into the back of sutil just like lewis didn't want to drive in kimi, but I agree that lewis made a much bigger mistake and he is impatient sometimes

Nope. It was not deliberately done. There was no space next to Kubica, Hamilton was trying to turn to the space on Kimi's left. Unfortunately, he went into the back of Kimi's car. Silly mistake on his part.
