Question:

Hamilton / Rosberg Penalized (political) ?

I cant believe this has happened....its seems like theyre out to get Lewis Hamilton first they bring out a pointless safety car when hes 8 seconds ahead which ultimately costs him the race and now theyve given him a 10 place grid drop for the next race.

I think its an absoloutly shocking decision ?

Also is this punishment from the FIA because Hamilton was very outspoken about Mosely when all that stuff about him came out in the papers....it has been said alot of people are too scared to voice ther opinions about him because of the power he has over the racing industry ?

I think Force India's technical director Mike Gascoyne called it perfectly when he said Raikonen isnt being penalized because he only took out one of the smaller teams cars.

So can someone explain why....Raikonen retires Sutil and gets away with it....but Lewis retires kimi and gets a 10 place grid penalty ?

  1. I don't see what all the fuss is about, and I'm also talking about the media.

It was not a political decision, nor a harsh one.

They were penalized for carelessness and ruining somebody's race because of it.

The decision is correct in my opinion and they both will have to accept it and move on.

  2. If this is the final decision,it's the best!He did this with intention because if not Kimi could win the race.Again the cockheads of McLaren are doing something not so good! Now my question.....This is the only way he can bat Raikkonen and Ferrari?I hope that he will be banished for the next 2 rounds like Schumi was in 94!!Shame on you,Lewis hamilton&dennis!!!All **** McLaren!!!

  3. Kimi Raikkonen said "Obviously, anyone can make mistakes, as I did two weeks ago in Monaco, but it’s one thing to make a mistake at two hundred per hour but another to hit a car stopped at a red light."

    Nuff said...

  4. It is not political. Kimi ramming into Sutil at Monaco was a racing accident. And mind you, Sutil overtook under yellow flags and the stewards imposed no penalty on him.

Hamilton's incident at Canada however was not a racing accident. Kimi and Kubica stopped for the red lights and Hamilton didn't see it. AS a result, he couldn't slow down in time and hit Kimi. Kimi and Kubica were stationary. It was clearly Hamilton's fault for failing to notice the red lights. So it's not shocking the penalty imposed on Nico and hamilton.

people always jump to conspiracy theories whenever it involves a Ferrari regardless of the driver.

  5. This question comes from a ardent Mclaren fan or a equally ferrari hater! C'mon man. Get your facts right...

First of all try and get the difference b/w racing accident and pit lane accident(which do you think is more common?? and why is that???) You wanted kimi to be penalized for hitting sutil?? hah... dream on...

What kind of noob driving is that to ram into a stationary car??? And yeah, when massa was penalized last year at the same place for not stopping at the red light, was there any comment from you regarding that? I guess not!

And the comment about rai taking out smaller teams?? Dude, hadn't rai hit sutil and finished even 5th, he would still be leading the championship (then, not now). I am d**n sure kimi is not such a lame cocky lost kid.

DONT EVER COMPARE KIMI'S LAST RACE INCIDENT WITH HAMILTION'S THIS RACE INCIDENT! Don't be prejudiced and look at FIA's decision in the right sense.

  6. Hey dude.. Compare the replays before you say anything.. I am a Ferrari fan.. I felt bad about Sutil because his team is just new and establishing its name to the world of F1.. But just what I said, look at the replays.. Kimi just slide of his car because of the wet track.. Even the race stewards investigated it and they were convinced that it was an accident.. In Canada, Kimi stopped at the pit lane because of the red light.. Everyone knows when its red you should stop.. And I hope Kimi remembered what happen to Massa last year when he exit the pit lane in red light.. Massa was given a black flag. Meaning, Massa retires.. I dont know whats going in the mind of Lewis but I know he saw Kimi at stationary because of the red light.. What should he suppose to do?.. Stop.. But what happen?. He crashed on the back of Kimi's car.. Come on man.. Is Lewis blind?. Even Lewis admitted his mistake.. I am a Ferrari fan, not a McLaren hater..

  7. No, it is not a shocking decision.  Go have a look at last year's Canadian GP.  Massa was disqualified for not stopping at the red light at the same spot.  It's not like this type of thing has never happened before at this race.

The difference is Kimi and Kubica did the right thing and stopped at a red light.  I don't see how you can say it is shocking the two drivers ramming them from behind were punished.

Even in F1, a red light means you stop.  Kimi taking out Sutil was a stupid error on a damp Monaco track.  Hamilton and Rosberg hit stationary cars stopped at a red light, at the end of pitlane, where there is a speed limit.  Huge difference.

  8. I absolutely agree with you Danny. Mosley is obviously jealous of all of Hamilton's appearances on the covers of Racer and Motorsport magazines, while Mosley has been relegated to the tabloids and n**i Nookie Monthly. I mean, I can't see why HRH would be penalized for a stupid, unsafe, and illegal move that caused a wreck and took out a championship contender, will cost a few million to set straight, and risked the lives of all involved.

I am being sarcastic, by the way. I do hope that was evident.

  9. three putt and val are right. lewis didn't see the red light. and the team should have told him but they didn't. and he was probably thinking why have they stopped there. but must have figured the red light and it was too late. the kimi and sutil was a racing incident.

  10. The punishment fits the crime. It's not shocking at all.

This is a very common mistake made by F1 drivers - ignoring or not seeing the red light at the end of the pitlane. Many have been slapped with some sort of penalty, usually a black flag. It's so common that everyone should know the rule very well by now. A highly professional group of people such as an F1 team should be able to remind themselves of the red light under safety car/pitstop situation. The team McLaren is partly to blame for not warning Lewis about the red light. But at the end of the day, the driver is the one with the brake pedal, and red means stop.

  11. You are obviously one of the blind millions who can't see that Lewis Hamilton is an undisciplined, arrogant little jerk who happens to be in a very good car. What is political is the c**p they let that little fairy get away with in the first place -- oh, let's see, double blocking moves on every corner, craning his car back onto the road, and on and on. He sucks. Great when he's in front, first sign of adversity and he can't handle it. Red means stop. No matter how wise the rule is, it's the rule, and everyone else except him and Rosberg seemed to have no problem paying attention to it. The penalty was absolutely correct as even MARTIN WHITMARSH publicly admitted. Personally, I hope Hamilton pulls his usual jerk-like stunts driving out of the mid-field in France and f*s it up as usual and ends up in a wall. Stupid git.

  12. It was stupid. There's not much I can say. My race was ruined by Hamilton's mistake. Obviously, anyone can make mistakes, as I did two weeks ago in Monaco, but it's one thing to make a mistake at two hundred per hour but another to hit a car stopped at a red light. I am not angry because that doesn't achieve anything and does not change my result! I am unhappy, because I had a great chance of winning."

  13. Kimi was racing when he hit what's his name on the other hand Hamilton made a rookie mistake and took out Kimi in the pit,THE PIT!!! I can't even remember the last time I saw such a stupid mistake by a driver.Hamilton more than deserves the penalty

  14. Danny mate, don't read so much into it. Lewis and Nico should have taken more notice of the lights in the pits. If it happened on the track then they wouldn't have got penalties. I could have cried for Adrian when Kimi took him off at Monaco, but that WAS a racing incident. Kimi needs points just as much as Lewis. Neither of them intended to take anyone off, but Lewis did it in the pits under a red light. Shame, but hey that's racing.

  15. The punishment fits the crime very well. It might even be a bit light: what penalty would he have got in the outside world if he'd piled into the back of another car that was waiting at a red light (& with perfect visibility and no other cars alongside or directly behind him at the time)?

  16. Are you THAT blind?

Kimi hitting Sutil in the wet, on track, was a racing incident.

Lewie the Brat smacking the back of Kimi IN THE PITS while the exit light was flashing RED was just plain stupidity and unsafe driving.  Hamilton should be suspended for a couple races for such unsafe driving, a ten spot penalty is a gift.

If Kimi and Robert weren't sitting there, The Brat would have blown right through the red light!  And then been disqualified to blowing the red light.  The light was still flashing after they got out of their cars!  You could see it clearly.

I have an intense dislike for Hamilton, look at the way he behaved after his brain f**t:  Kimi tried to talk to him, and he physically brushed him off.  You don't do that to a WDC when you make such a blithering rookie mistake.  Then he shoves a TV camera aside, and he still won't take any responsibility for HIS error!  All of his quotes thus far lays the blame on two cars who were correctly stopped at the pit exit.

They ought to yank the dumbsh*t's Superlicense.

  17. No it's not a surprise, they were both involved in an avoidable accident, the rules on the pit exit under safety car is quiet clear & they should have expected the red light, Kimi did!!!!

Well done to Kubica, Heidfeld & BMW Sauber on there result today.....
