  1. I think that he'll make up some lost ground, maybe 10th, but make a mistake and have to replace his front wing, I just think people are always more likely to make mistakes under pressure. He makes passing cars sound like an easy feat at Magny Cours, which is just not true, even in a McLaren.

And this time, he won't have any blue flags to help him pass the back markers, so they'll be doing all they can to keep him behind.

  2. I don't think it'd be as easy as he makes it seem to be! He's either just being overconfident, taking things for granted or is just being optimistic. Nothing wrong, but I don't think he should be so sure of anything. Anything can happen.

I think he has a chance of getting onto the podium, but maybe he won't.

  3. I don't think he'll make the podium, I think he'll make about fifth.

  4. A podium is highly unlikely unless it is a race of attrition and Hamilton survives unscathed. Even getting into points would be a bit difficult if the Ferraris, BMW's  and Kovi (Dont forget Alonso's qualifying efforts) push him to the second or third row during Q3.

I'd gladly put him as a contender for the "Who will finish 13th" question that will soon be posted by either Val or Top_Gear's_Biggest_Fan.

For Val: Too many trolls here, they even give thumbs down for technical answers. But I've been reading all the interesting posts here...

  5. Lewis is getting a little cocky.

  6. I think he must just finish the race or even with points, say 6-8 etc because the Midfield is getting packed by the Red bulls, Renault(of Alonso{maybe both Renault's because Nelsinho has to prove to Renault that he is good}).....BMW's...and off course Ferrari's[I think they will come back nicely, They got to prove that they are the Best], Even the Force India has some chances as Vijay Mallya is supporting financially to the team....Which lacked earlier(which is Good)......so Hamilton needs to drive carefully NOT Carelessly......

  7. I think he will be either 4th or 5th if he is not a DNF. as long as he keeps his wits about him he should be OK, but I think we can all agree that he has a bit of a problem with multi tasking!!! He must keep his eyes on everything and everyone at the same time, because if he does make a mistake then we will have to suffer all the 'Hamilton is an idiot' questions again *sigh*.

I hope Heikki can actually have an uneventful race and finish on the podium. that would be good:)

If Lewis does well off the start then I expect he will do well during the race.

Edit: Firefox, the '13th' is my Q and the 'your views' is top gears lol. and yeah the trolls are irritating!!!

  8. Hamilton is a good ( good not great ) driver, he just talks too much....

and generally when ones mouth is open, you are not learning anything...

  9. Ah.... I don't think he'll be standing on the podium this time. But score a few points maybe. As long as he focuses on his job, the road ahead of him and everything else and not pressure himself then he would finish the race with points. And also if he doesn't get involved in any accidents. There's that risk considering he'll be starting midfield or lower

I'm hoping that Heikki will be having a better weekend than last. He's been doing well so far but has yet to have a stunning weekend. Maybe he just needs some luck.

  10. Sixth.    I don't think he'll be able to get past the Redbulls and BMW's so easily.

  11. No he cannot.

  12. surely he will pass a couple or more cars at the start as he will be lighter than those one-stoppers in front of him but he will end up the same when he pitted... that will be for sure... he will have some difficulty passing the Renaults and the Red bulls plus the BMWs... that will be six cars in all and in his frustration will lose the very little concentration he possesses and will end up at the back of DC... thus he won't even make it into the podium...

  13. No,the big head he has will add to much weight to the car and slow him down

  14. I THINK HE HAS A GOOD CHANCE.  DEPENDS ON SO MANY THINGS, WEATHER, TYRE CHOICE, HOW MANY STOPS, IF ANOTHER DRIVER RUNS INTO HIM .

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET ON THE PODUM.

  15. I think that Hamilton will be probably on the podium along with Raikkonen and Kubica

  16. Starting from the wrong end of the grid will test him. He's already shown he cant multi task behind two cars in the pits let alone 21 others!

  17. Hamilton will score two points
