Lewis never really wanted to take part in it but was pressured by DC.   I think he just changed his mind and got his dad to back out of it for him which is what pissed of Button.

Yep! I won't respect McLaren until they let Lewis go. Right now he's proving his inexperience in his second season.

Heh heh... his dad does it again. I'm not sure if having his dad around is a very good idea. He needs a real professional to be his advisor. If Hamilton didn't feel up to it, he shoudl have just turned it down in the first place despite DC egging him on. It would be better than accepting the challenge only to withdraw it later. People may agree taht he has to focus on the championship but others will not have very nice things to say about htis

Lewis would have done it if Daddy had let him out to play. I think he should get rid of his father and hire a proper PA. Family members don't always make the best managers!!!

either way, money should be donated. IMO it should come out of Anthony Hamiltons pocket seeing as it was him that put the kibosh on it

thought he was a guy who accepts challenges. but seems that i was wrong

lewis father following him around is his choice. though i think it's better to fly solo

Really they should keep these sort of d**k swinging contests to the off season and in all honesty if Jenson had any realistic chance of challenging for the WDC would he be doing triathlons between race meetings?
