  4. Haha, I don't think so. That's my short answer, if you're actually serious about this, here's my in-depth answer.

The Tigercats have been having some trouble for a few years. They haven't even made the playoffs since 2004, and they were the worst team in the East. Besides that, the last good season they had was way back in 2001 when they finished 11-7, but they still lost 2nd rounds. The Tigercats haven't even won a Grey Cup since 1999.

Now they have several problems that need to be fixed before they can compete in the CFL.

    1) Jason Maas is not a winner. If you want to have any chance at having a good year, the first thing you need is a good quarterback. Maas only had a QB rating of 71.9 last year, that's not nearly good enough. And when you're throwing more than two times the number of interceptions as Touchdowns, you know you need to make a change. Even though he's a decent rusher, his passing stats are too bad to move on with.

Kevin Eakin isn't the answer either. He played in some games last year, but his rating was as low as 24.9 with 9 interceptions and only 2 touchdowns. They need to get a new quarterback.

    2) Hamilton's running game is terrible. Neither Holmes or Ranek put up 500 yards, and combined they had 1 TD. When you don't have a quarterback or running back, there is defidently going to be bad results, and that's exactly what you are seeing right now. Hamilton has no offense at all, they need to make changes at QB and RB.

    3) Recieving. It doesn't make it much easier on the QB when you don't have any good recievers. And same for the recievers, without a good QB they can do nothing. Hamilton's main targets, Vaughn and Flick, are defidnelty not good enough to be the go-to-guys. They need a guy like Geroy Simon who can catch everything they throw at him. But with what they have now, most of their offensive points are gonnabe coming from missed field goals.

    4) Defense. Hamilton's defense isn't going to be good enough to back up the offense, their best tackler, Jojuan Armour, only had 68 tackles last year. That wasn't even close to the league leader in tackles (Simpson with 110). They also put no pressure on the QB, the leading D-Line man was Tim Cheatwood with only 6 sacks. That's not gonna cut it with too many other teams in the league, and Hamilton should do something about they're lack of pressure. Also where is the defense on the recievers? The leader in interceptions was Tay Cody with only 3 interceptions. All in all, if they can't have a good defense to support the weak offense, they might never win.

Everything I listed above, the most important things for a team, offense and defense. Hamilton has neither of those. They are weak at almost every position. Quarter back, reciever, running back, and just about everything on defense. They are going to need to make some changes. This may take years to do. Hamilton is in a huge hole right now, and they can just hope that they're young players turn out to be stars because the guys they have right now cannot compete. I don't know what it's going to come down to, new coaching, new owner, anything could happen. But only time will tell.
