Hamis Al Bin looking solid for Free Horse Racing Bets With FreeBetting.co.uk Maiden Stakes at Southwell
After a long break, Hamis Al Bin will be back in action in the Free Horse Racing Bets With FreeBetting.co.uk Maiden Stakes, taking place at Southwell on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
Mark Johnston’s trainee failed to perform well last year, but the bookies have not lost their confidence in his abilities. The bay gelding is likely to be given the highest starting prize for the 7f event, which is scheduled to get underway at 17:05 (GMT).
The line-up comprises of eight fast and furious runners, who will pursue a cash prize worth £2,264. Among the confirmed entries are: Hamis Al Bin, Minstrels Gallery, Darsan, Feeling Good, Orwellian, Dilizan, Eqtiraab and Spread Boy.
After an embarrassing show in his opening two races, Hamis Al Bin improved his performance to some extent. He did well in his last race, securing fourth place in the M&S Money Premium Club E B F Maiden Stakes at Chester in July 2011.
The exciting gelding looks in good shape after a decent gap. Today’s race seems an ideal stage for him to achieve a positive result.
Another contender with fair chances of winning is Darsan. Although the four-year-old has not been producing good results over the last few weeks, one cannot overlook her chances.
The filly, who is desperate for her first win, made her last outing on March 08, when she ended up fifth on the table. Yet, one cannot take anything away from her, as she possesses enormous talent. Luck is not on her side these days, as she missed fourth
slot by a head distance last time around.
Minstrels Gallery can come up with a surprise, as the three-year-old is still unexposed. J. R. Jenkins’ colt will be ridden by Frederik Tylicki, who has number of big wins to his credit.
Conclusion
Despite the fact that Hamis Al Bin’s prior stats are not impressive, nobody can rule him out of the equation. The gelding has potential to outplay his rivals, but he will have to do something special to taste his first success.
Minstrels Gallery and Darsan are two dangerous contestants, who cannot be taken lightly. Bettor.com wishes best of luck to all runners.
