Hammad Azam vows to return to the national team – Cricket News Update
Hammad Azam, the discarded young Pakistan all-rounder, is keen to return to the national team by performing well in the upcoming domestic season in the country and revealed that he is working hard to improve his bowling skills.
The 21-year-old budding cricketer came through the ranks of junior cricket in the country, doing exceedingly well in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2010 in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754.
The all-rounder was also a part of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746. The hard-hitting batsman however, failed to break into the playing-XI.
Azam made his international debut during the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 last year and has been in and out of the side since then. He is an extremely talented batsman, who can take the attack to the opposition; however, there are some serious question marks over
his bowling ability, which lacks potency.
While talking to Pakpassion, the all-rounder from Attock expressed his intent to do well in the upcoming national season. The youngster represents the National Bank of Pakistan and Rawalpindi Rams in the country’s domestic cricket.
Hammad expressed that batting is his forte but he is also working hard to improve his bowling. The youngster said that the national team’s former bowling coach, Aaqib Javed and the present mentor, Dav Whatmore, have helped him develop his bowling.

lot," he expressed.
The all-rounder understands that he will have to work extremely hard to regain the selectors’ faith. Generally, fielding is Pakistan’s weakest point but Hammad is working hard on that aspect of his game as well.
"I think fielding is also vital aspect of cricket, along with batting and bowling, so I will need to go back and work on all areas of my game to make a comeback to the Pakistan team," he concluded.
