Hampshire beats Middlesex in Friends Provident T20
Hampshire beats Middlesex by 6 wickets in Friends Provident T20 at the Uxbridge Cricket Club Ground.

Owais Shah continued to hold off one end and took on the role of sheet anchor, Newman joined him for a 20 run partnership in middle of the innings, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dominic-Cork-c1390, and Newman scored 11 runs from 14 balls with one boundary.
Berg then joined Shah and put on 26 runs in 2 and a half over, Berg did not last very long either he was caught by Carberry off the bowling of Briggs after scoring 16 runs from 10 balls with3 fours.
Owais Shah was not getting proper support as batsmen kept getting out from the other end, Henderson could not score a single run and was caught by Vince for Ervine’s 2nd wicket.
Scott and Owais Shah used the final 4 overs to good effect and put on 59 runs to take the score to 164, Shah was dismissed on the final ball of the innings after scoring 80 runs from 52 balls with 5 fours and 5 massive sixes.
Hampshire did not have too much trouble chasing down the target the opening pair set the pace of the innings.
Adams and Carberry went after the Middlesex attack right from the start and made good use of the fielding restrictions in the first 6 overs.
Adams was in his usual aggressive mood and was dominant on the leg side, he clipped anything close to his pads over the field and anything short was duly pulled away.
Carberry was quite the opposite and favoured the cover region; his drives down the ground gave Middlesex quite a headache.
As soon as Dexter introduced spin, Carberry went down the track and helped himself to 2 massive sixes, the partnership was finally broken when Carberry went for his 3rd six and was caught in the deep by Berg off the bowling of Owais Shah he scored 41 runs from 28 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Vince and Adams then struck another good partnership adding 50 runs in just 6 overs, Adams was finally dismissed in the 16th over after scoring 64 from 44 balls with 10 boundaries.

Shawn Ervine knocked off the final few runs to get Hampshire home in the 19th over, Ervine was unbeaten at 17 from 12 balls in the end.
Owais Shah from Middlesex was named man of the match for his 80 runs.
