Hamster 911 Can I manage her pain????

my daughters have a very old teddy bear hamster and she is very sick.

She has been battling infections in both eyes, her stomach is bloated and she has a swollen bottom with 'wet tail'

I CAN'T sit here and watch her suffer PLEASE can anyone tell me how to manage her pain in these final days????

I was told to use ether to put her down.... OMG help

That recently happened to me except mine had a very bad infection that went to the ear and to the eye take her to the vet and they can do surgery if thats what you want or let her peace and put her to rest i know itt will be sad and it was for me when i put mine f=down but why let them suffer

  6. Put her down asap. Rodents are not meant to live a long life. she is in pain right now . There is nothing you can do except prolong the agony .

  7. It guess it is better to put her down to relieve her from the pain. However don't do at home yourself, it is difficult to do it at home and you would not know the dosage of ether to be given. Please take her to a vet who can do a professional job of putting her down with minimum pain possible. I am really sorry about your hamster but I guess it is better for her to be put down to get relieved of the pain (though it sounds so hard to talk that way) soon than to go through it for a few more days.
