Can you use paper as bedding?

Yes, but they will most likely eat it.  Just make sure there are no toxins in the paper you are using.  I do not suggest things like newpapers or magazines... Wood shavings would probably be best, but not pine because it is toxic to rodents.

yes but it cant have any ink or printing on it.(so no newspaper)  this may be harmful for the hamster.  i know this cause it is the same for Mice and i have pet mice.

no you have to get some soft stuff btu not wood my hamster got sick cuz she ate it i get carefresh petbeeding and it comes in different colors and safe

temporarily, yes... but youll have to clean the cage often, like every 2 or 3 days... tisue or toilet paper can be  given all the time as nesting material, owever the rest of the cage should have aspen wood chips or a paper product such as CAREFRESH=]
