Hamster Dilemma? My Syrian hamsters are g*y.?

I bought 2 male Syrian hamster 7 weeks ago with the Habitrail OVO Pad with some extensions. When I bought them they were still quite small at the pet store. After 2 weeks, they began to fight and they couldn't drink out of the water bottle. I have read that only Dwarf hamsters were able to drink out of the OVO bottle, so I have been giving them water in a bowl but it always get husk in it and they wouldn't want to drink it. 1 of the hamsters are g*y, so it wants to do it with the other one and traumatized it. It hides from him and refuses to go out of its corner. Thus, the g*y hamster has gone much bigger while the traumatized one has shrunk a little. The g*y one is getting smarter and wouldn't let me hold it. Everytime I open the cage it wants to get out. So I always push it in and now its getting a bit traumatized. Both of these hamsters won't let me touch them. Help? And the g*y one has a big lump at its a**s. Im considering to give both of them away and get winter white hamsters. I haven't really interacted with them much so I won't be really sad even though they die.

  1. hamsters arent g*y

  2. How the h**l can hamsters be g*y.

  3. I think you should have done your research before you got the hamsters. hamsters AREN"T g*y, if they are with another hamster that is the same s*x as them they will try to mate, its in their nature. have you ever considered that the "big lump on its a**s" might be its testicals?

you need to start holding them no matter what they do. if one of them wants to get out of the cage then let them, just shut the door to your room and make sure their isnt anything SUPER harmful to them and it will be fine.

  4. the habitrail OVO products were not meant for anything bigger than russian dwarfs. your hamster is not g*y, he is stating he is more dominant by mounting, flipping the other hamster over, charging, this is normal behaviour. sell your cage and attachments to buy a cage better suited for syrians. also, play with them more. this does not mean holding them, but simply letting them smell your hand, hand feeding them, letting them run around on your bed, things like that. holding can come later.

  5. It's not that they're g*y.

It's because Syrian hamsters shouldn't be housed together and will fight to the death.

And the lump? That's it's testicles.

How about you do some simple reading up?
