Hamster Help! Please!? Emergency!?!?

Question

Ok i was just looking at my hamsters which were both on the wheel then when they got off the wheel i noticed that they pooped alot i counted it was 17 or 18 times and i just cleaned the cage like 6 hours ago please help is this normal today all I feed it was its normal food and a little piece of carrot help there acting normal but I'm concern about the p**p.

Hamster poo alot, this is very normal. You should clean the cage once a week unless it gets to smelling very badly, then twice a week. carrots and lettuce should only be given in small amounts and taken out of the cage after one day so they don't go rotten.

I think you hamsters are fine. Hamsters do p**p a lot, its just what they do ha ha. It could be the carrot that could be upsetting they're bellies. Take away the carrots and wait a day or so. Some hamsters can't handle certain kinds of veggies. Don't worry to much about it. But if after taking the carrot away and waiting and that doesn't work try this website

i think your hamster is fine but try tomorrow not feeding any thing out of the ordinary but its regular diet and see if any thing changes. i hope i helped =)

My hamster hand book thing says that you are only supposed to feed them greens so maybe its the carrot mine poops alot too but its normal
