Hamster Help.........

Question

I`m getting a friends hamster she don't want and there is a pic of it below.....I am pretty sure its a dwarf......but is it a Chinese or robo!?! Also what is the names of his marking and colors!?!?! It is a girl from what she told me, (but I will look to make sure) so what are some cute names......?

Also this would be my very first dwarf hamster so....if you have any good tips for me, that would be VERY helpful..............

Even though I did TONS of research on them other websites would be good for me to................

Anything else I need to know????!?????????

dwarf hamster are usually very skittish. some like to be held while others dont, so dont be sad if she doesnt like to be held. I have had two dwarf hamsters before, one named fuzzy and one named cuddles. fuzzy hated to be held but cuddles loved it. Just make sure you keep the cage clean, other then that you should be fine.

She is a very cute hamster...

its a robo.

since robos havn't been domesticated for very long, they have no colour variations, so it is called 'wild colourings'. but you could say it is brown- argente (brownish- sand).

i think the name mochi suits her well, dont you think?

TIP- always talk to her before handling, to let her know you're there.

TIP- use a cut down juice carton as a litter pan

TIP- hang paper clips from the top of the cage so she can swing on them, they enjoy this (oddly)
