  1. Thats weird because Robo hamsters are said to be the most tame and dosile of the lot and they are very social creatures. Are they both male? Maybe its a dominance thing?? Maybe you could keep them in seperate cages but close together so they get used to each others smells, after a few days try them together again and if they still fight its probs best to keep them apart or one of them is going to get hurt.

  2. Try the split cage method or the switching method.

    Split cage:

placing a wire spliter in the cage so that the hamsters can sniff each other without being able to hurt each other. Do this for a two or three days (if you cna keep it like that all night if you can't because there is no way of having a water bottle and wheel in each half then just do it for .5-1 hour each day for a week) tehn try it again. This usually help

    Switching Method:

You can try putting one hamster in one cage and the other in another cage. then let tehm mark there territory(leave them alone for an hour) Then take each hamster out and put them in the opposite cage that they were in. Leave them in the cage over night. The next day switch the hamsters. this will help them get used to each others scents.

Something that i have noticed that will cause them to fight is if you put one hamster in a few minutes early than the other. If you don't them in together within like a minute the hamster that was in there first will have marked a lot of the space for himself this will cause fightign until you clean the cage out again.

One thing I've also noticed is that you may misinterpret your hamsters' behavoir. If you hearing squeking that doesn't mean they are fighting. Some hamsters just squeak a lot. They might not even be near each other and one may "yell."

Also i one is chasing the other they may not be fighting. They may be a male and female. You should check and make sure they are asmae s*x pair. We saw our Robos "fight" when we first put them in there cage, but it only lasted about 5 seconds and they didn't do it again. So you should keep them together unless you see them actually hurting each other. Watch them when they are fighting are they causing any pain, wounds, or anything else. Watch there mouths if they arn't hurting each other than they are probally fine.

If you see them fighting then find out why is it food, wheel, or housing. Put two of wheels and at least two hiding holes. Food you can scatter around the cage that way they aren't near each other when collecting food.

    Hope i helped!!

    Good Luck!!
