  1. Well...

All wheels can be 'silent' if you give them a little bit of oil! :-]

My cousin had the most noisy wheel ever, but when he gave it a little oil, it was SILENT as ANYTHING! :-]

But, from what I hear, silent wheels are really SILENT! :-]

    --------------------------------------...

If you go to a Pet Store for a silent wheel, give it a spin to make sure it is a totally SILENT wheel! :-]

    Good luck! :-]

  2. It isn't deadly silent but is very quiet, much quieter than other wheels i've had. I have one and i'm really pleased with it i'd get one if i were you

  3. im not sure but if you get it and it makes a nose, put some veggie oil on the actually part that spins it. i have a silent wheel that doesnt make one sound but i dont know what its called. its sjust a plain gray wheel. hehehe ♥♥♥♥good luck!!!!♥♥♥♥

  4. That looks like a great wheel but if u want an almost cost free way u should try putting Vaseline on where it skews, usually the bit that connects them together. I did that at the begging of the year and it still works now.

    Mitch :)

  5. It is silent.

We sell it where I work and I also have one for my gerbils.

As long as you put it on right and spin it gently everyday to check it doesn't need cleaning, it'll be silent.

  6. there not silent atal wel fr first couple of days tey are but there is no silent wheel u just haved to put up with it

  7. You can barely hear a thing (my two Roborovski's had it for a while) and it really is completely silent.

But when I gave it to my Syrian, it made an awful clanking noise because it was a) touching against the side of his cage and b) I didn't stick it down to the floor of the cage meaning it kept moving and knocking against the side of the cage as mentioned above. I solved that problem by sticking the stand (with selo-tape and Blu-Tac) to the floor of the cage.

Other than that though, I would render it completely silent. Also, I would only recommend giving it to dwarf hamsters as it is a bit too heavy for Syrians and is very liable to be knocked over.
