Hamster chinchilla sand?

Question

i heard hamsters like chinchilla sand, so i went out and got this bottle that said "chinchilla bath sand", but after that it said dust bath. i was a little confused but bought it anyway. it looks silvery and quite powdery, my hamster is totally afraid of it. im not sure if its the right thing, and if not how does the sand look like, i couldn't find any other one in Petcetera. please help!

They should be the same thing. Chinchilla sand is used for dust baths. These are the only kinda baths hamsters can have, dust. Just put  a small bowl with it in the cage for an hour or so and leave the hamster only it may take him a while to try it out, but he should aventually roll areound in it. Don't worry u did the right thing.
