  1. Im not sure what else you can do but wait. If you can't get him out of there before your dad gets back from a bussiness trip just push food under there and hope that it's still alive and okay when your dad comes home to take it apart.

  2. leave his cage bye the dishwasher with the lid open ove night

  3. Give this a try -

If you still have some of the old bedding with the smell of the hamster in them, put some of it in a tray along with a few pieces of the hamster's p**p on the floor of the place closest to the dishwasher.

Spread some of his favourite treats and hamster food on the bedding.

The hamster, if nearby, would definitely come back since the scent of his bedding and p**p is too strong for him to resist.

You will have to watch guard over the tray from a quiet corner and catch him as soon as he comes near the tray.

Stop all the commotion near the dishwasher since that would encourage him to hide more inside. Just stay quiet and he should be out in an hour.

  4. With all the commotion going on, he's more than likely scared.  He probably has no intention of coming out with everyone being as excited as they are.

Do you perhaps have a yard stick or several rulers?  Try GENTLY sweeping him out.

You might want to wear gloves so that when he comes into reach, you can get him.  He might bite from being so scared.

The food thing is a good and he'll probably get out as soon as he's hungry.  But the problem is, he'll probably stuff his cheeks and go back in.  So you'll have to watch him.  Play your game boy or whatever or listen to some music, maybe watch TV while you wait, but keep a close eye.

  5. If it makes you feel any better...I once lost a hamster. I had him on the bathroom floor, and apparently there was a hole under the sink that fed into the wall of our house. For a little over a week, we could hear him in various places in our wall around the house. One day he decided he had enough of his adventure and came parading down our hallway, which is where i recaptured him. (this incident happened twice)

Just relax, he will get hungry and come out looking for food.

  6. my hamster escaped outside and a few hours later i saw my dog with it.. :-(

  7. Don't start the dishwasher. Don't move the dishwasher. Don't vacumm. Don't sit down without looking, watch where you step.

There is really nothing you can do but wait for him to come out. He may not be behind/under the dishwasher at all, he may have gotten into your cabinets. Look in all your cabinets and shelves. If you can't find him, stop looking. Don't make any noise and leave the peanut butter on the floor for him. Eventually he'll come out if he thinks no one is around.

  8. There's not too much you can do more. If i was you, i would step back a little further to wait and see if he/she comes out. Poor animal might be scared to come out.

  9. ok hi the first step is dont worried you will make things worst you have to call his/her name or make noise like tap the dish washer until she/he come out and KEEP food by it well hope this help you and hope that hamster will come out and one more thing stay up all night because she/he would come out in the night

  10. okay this has actually happened to me... well this is hard to explain.... so i'll be frank... when an animal is ready to die sometimes it crawls where no on can see it... to end its life.

BUT i could be wrong maybe it just wants to stay under there
