Hamster help please!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

my hamster sometimes walks under his water thing and gets wet.

his fur looks like it wet but its dry

does anybody know how i can get rid of it?

Maybe the water thing just acted like a comb and brushed his hair a different way? It's really nothing to be concerned about if it really bothers you just pet his fur back to the right way.

You should try to move his water bottle away from the area where he is constantly walking under it. Is there an area of his cage where he doesn't often go? Or do you have an upper level to the cage that you can put the water bottle. You should also consider purchasing a new water bottle. It may be that it's leaking on it's own.

Do not place a water bowl in the cage as a replacement for a bottle. Your hamster could drown or get sick from the stagnant water. A water bottle is the safest method of giving fresh water to your hamster.

As for the hair issue, it sounds like his hair is drying stuck together. Have you tried towel drying him off after he gets wet? Don't blow dry him as the heat could hurt his delicate skin. Or you can brush or cut off the stuck together hair.
