Hamster help!please!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

my hamster has been squeking and hes never squeked before he started about a week ago and hasent stopped since i dont know what it could be and i dont know what to do.please help .

Some hamsters never squeak while there are some which can be pretty loud and squeak often. If your hamster squeaks once in a while, then it is okay.

Hamster squeak can have various meanings - bored, hate being held, hate taken out to play or for no obvious reasons but if your hamster has been squeaking constantly even when left alone in his cage or taken out to play, then it could signify some pain he is having. Just check if he has hurt himself somewhere, whether he is pooping properly and check his fur for mites. Some hamsters squeak a lot when they have mites in their fur irritating them all the time.

If you can, a vet visit could also be useful since the vet can check and opine on whether the hamster is having any sickness.

Hamsters only squeak in distress. Have you checked if it is injured. Check with a vet. Also does it have it's daily exercise. What type of hamster is it i herd some hamsters squeak for mating call.

maybe check for any wounds. if you have cedar bedding a piece of wood(sliver)could have been wedged in its paw or belly..hope you find out whats going on!

Maybe you should check for a cut on his foot or something. It sounds like he may be in pain for some reason. Have you dropped him recently?? Maybe he ate something that has made him sick!!!! Maybe he's constipated, so you should feed him some apple with no seeds to help him!!! I hope he's okay.

maybe he is hurt or feels threatened. try taking him to the vet if you think somethings wrong with him
